Extracted the current valid-word dictionary directly from the live
nytimes.com/games/wordle JS bundle (14,855 words) and diffed it against
the repo's combined word set. Found 1,883 words NYT now accepts as valid
guesses that the repo had nowhere; none are historical answers (already
reconciled in the prior commit), so they're added as guesses only. No
words in the repo are rejected by NYT's current dictionary.

Cross-referenced every historical solution from NYT's Wordle API
(2021-06-19 through today) against answers.txt and found 44 words that
were actually used as real answers but were sitting in the guesses-only
list: atlas, atria, balsa, beaut, carom, colic, cubit, divot, emoji,
gizmo, gofer, grift, guano, gunky, hydra, indie, kazoo, kefir, knell,
laser, loris, matte, maven, mommy, mooch, muggy, nervy, oasis, oomph,
pious, primp, pshaw, shill, shred, sitar, snafu, spate, squid, suede,
taupe, tinge, tizzy, toady, uvula.

The "possible answer(s) remain" list (shown when <=20 candidates)
was sorted alphabetically, out of step with the ranked suggestions
printed right below it. Rank it with the same heuristic instead.

Some real Wordle answers aren't in the bundled answers.txt list. This
adds a REPL command to append a word to answers.txt and remove it from
guesses.txt if present there, since the two lists are meant to be
disjoint.
